JK ADAMS, DORSET, VT

J.K. Adams, believes that the kitchen is the heart of the home. It is this belief that drives us to create the highest quality, hand-crafted products for cooking and entertaining. It is our job to give you the tools to make cooking and entertaining easy and fun. We love to hear about the well-used carving board that serves one family’s Thanksgiving turkey year after year or the cutting board used to prep a great dinner for friends. It is these stories from our customers that keep us going.

J.K. Adams was founded on December 31, 1944. Times have changed but we are proud to say that our values have not. We remain committed to producing high-quality kitchen and housewares products by hand from North American hardwoods in Dorset, Vermont. We are a second-generation family-owned business with employees that have been with us for years and who are proud of the products we produce together.

Nordic Ware, Minneapolis, MN

An inspirational American success story, Nordic Ware was founded in 1946 by a determined wife, Dotty, and her resourceful husband Dave, newly back from the second world war. With only $500 in their pockets, a few good ideas and a desire to create a business of their own, a humble kitchenware company was launched from the basement of their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Undoubtedly, Nordic Ware's most famous item is the Bundt® pan, which can be found in over 70 million households around the world. Despite a lackluster introduction into our line in the early 1950s, the Bundt® pan rose to worldwide fame when it was used to bake a prize-winning cake in a national baking contest, and the rest, as they say, is history.

70 years later with a good measure of perseverance added, Nordic Ware is still proudly manufacturing the vast majority of its products in Minneapolis. Those original Scandinavian products have been joined by hundreds of other items in Nordic Ware’s product offering, ranging from bakeware and cookware to microwave products and grilling accessories. We’ve grown from 2 employees to over 350, and our products are distributed across the globe. We’re proud to say that we’re still family-owned and operated, with three generations involved in our business, and each year we add innovative items to our expansive kitchenware line.

bee’s wrap

Bee’s Wrap started with a question: How could we eliminate plastics in our kitchen in favor of a healthier, more sustainable way to store our food?\

What founder, Sarah Kaeck, discovered was a lost tradition made new again. By infusing organic cotton with beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin, Sarah created a washable, reusable, and compostable alternative to plastic wrap.

Reducing the reliance on plastic takes time, and every effort you make counts. Whether you’re using Bee’s Wrap for on-the-go snacks or storing dinner leftovers, you’re one step closer to making it possible to ditch disposable food storage for good.

Today, Bee’s Wrap is a leading alternative to plastic wrap. From our headquarters in Middlebury, Vermont, we’re creating wraps—sold online and in stores around the world—that provide a versatile and durable solution for sustainable food storage.
