Iron Coffee, hoosick Falls, ny

When Mike Milliron, owner of Iron Coffee Company, bought a small home roaster in early 2016, he had no idea that within the year he would be opening up his own coffee shop in historic Hoosick Falls, NY.

After indulging in his passion for quality coffee, he soon became obsessed with small-batch roasting, spending hours upon hours in his garage, searching for the perfect method to create that “just right” cup of bold, strong coffee; the kind he’d always wanted in his mug.

Soon, demand for Iron Coffee’s strong blend became too much for that poor little home roaster, and it was time to expand operations. Hoosick Falls turned out the perfect location; a town on the rise, nestled between New York’s Capital Region and Bennington, Vermont.

Today, the Harney family carries the torch passed to them by the founder of their family business. With a bottling plant, warehouse, two stores and a thriving international e-commerce business, John’s passion lives on in his family.
